Exciting news first…
My tees will be sold at a very cool artist’s market beginning in July. Leasa: Life’s Work is located in Lilburn, GA and the owner is super sweet. I’m very excited for this new venture!
In other news, here is a skirt for my girly. It is the skirt from the Gracie pattern by Portabello Pixie. Goes together very easily, but doing the ruffles by hand STINKS! I think I see a ruffler foot in my future…

I just love the pic of her peeking through the headboard. Silly girl. No, that is not part of the decor. LOL. It’s a vintage piece that we are refinishing for Riley’s room. Pics to come on that!
Note her Dora sticker, compliments of LabCorp. I think it was a peace offering after the disasterous event of having to draw her blood. Hope we don’t have to do that again anytime soon, yikes!
Off to wake her up from her nap. Oh yes! Week 2! I know she was extra tired today after another dose of benadryl following her wasp sting last night. This girl is a walking disaster–but a cute one at that.

do you own a serger? I do my ruffles on my serger, just tighten the needle tension (all the way for tight ruffles, just a bit for loose ruffles)and increase your stitch width a bit. Then, increase the differential all the way. HTH.

I do have a serger. I will have to try this out. I’m always scared to try new things with it because of my failed attempt at lettuce edging. lol. Thanks for sharing!
